This community hospital is located near the most southerly part of Ontario enjoying the finest weather. Minimal snow, lakeside living within an easy commute to the American border and large urban centers. The position of Chief of EM places this physician at the table with all Chiefs of EM in the LHIN as an equal shaping the department throughout the area. The department sees approximate 35000 visits per year. The is a three shift day. Chief responsibilities are covered in approximately 1 day per week with a stipend for that work of $60,000. Expectation is for up to 10 shifts per month in addition to administrative responsibilities.

This position allows for a 50:50 split in anesthesia (GP) and any combination of family medicine and EM in a community hospital. If only half time work is desired, no other work is required. The hospital is an easy commute from a larger university city of 350,000 people should a larger home community be desired. On call is shared with 4 others but not onerus. There are no OBS calls. Night and weekend calls are rare with cases usually added to the next day's list. The second half of the time can be in areas listed above with openings for family medicine half time in the community itself as well as EM coverage. If desired a full time positon could be created without a family medicine office per se. If full time anesthesia is desired a part time possibility exists with a neighboring hospital as well and could be negotiated. A pain clinic has also ben established. The community is nestled in the heartland of southwestern Ontario farmland, approxiamtely half an hour for the lake, an hour and a half from Toronto airport, Niagara Falls and Buffalo USA.

Community hospital EM room is looking to fill up to two positions. AFP in place. Live in this smaller community or the large city nearby. The site features 8 hour shifts and the position requires up to 14 shifts per month. The signing bonus is $50,000. for a 5 yr commitment and may be prorated for a lesser commitment. The site sees approximately 30,000 visits per year. Tertiary care is available in the neighboring city boasting a medical school. The site requires full time commitment to EM whoever family doctors wishing to practice full time EM are welcome to apply. EM designation is preferred but not required.

Family physician positions available in state fo the art clinics across the GTA. Locations include Scarborough, Toronto Central, Brampton and Mississauga. 85/15% for all full time physicians working at least 4 full days (8hrs) and signing a one year contract with the clinic. Preferably physicians looking to build a practice out of our centre. This percentage is also only offered if the physician is supporting all our ancillary services (pharmacy, rehab, diagnostics, etc….) fully. Profit Sharing from the Pharmacy on the doctors referrals will be offered once the doctor has completed a full time schedule with us for a yr. This is a full time position in a picturesque community's hospital Radiology dept. Up-to-date equipment with CT opening this Spring. On call is shared with one other with great flexibility and when not available referral is made to neighboring community. In hospital site offices provided. The community has historic importance and has maintained much of hte feel of Upper Canada in its downtown core.

French / English Bilingual a must. The hospital is offering 7/24 general surgery and c-section back-up for the obstetrical group. The 3 anesthetists share on-call responsibilities which cover general anesthesia in the O.R. 5 days per week and for emergencies. The group offers 24/7 support in obstetrics for epidurals and also for post-operative pain control. In addition, sedation is offered to all patients for endoscopy and cystoscopy. The 3 anesthetists share the pre-operative examination responsibilities. Generous on call remuneration A physician is welcome on off days to contribute to Emergency Room duties and may also participate in back-up and transfer group with an interesting fee structure.

The hospital is recruiting an additional General Internist to complement a team of two full-time Internists. The HGH offers a wide range of opportunities to the General Internist (ex.: Diabetic Clinic, CHF Clinic and COPD Clinic). Members of the Department of Medicine have a collegial relationship with one-full time equivalent Cardiologist. A bilingual physician is a great asset but a unilingual physician will be accepted. No on call requirement

Emergentologists and General Practitioners interested in Emergency Medicine are required for part-time work. The frequency of participation in the Emergency Room rota is at the physician’s discretion. Compensation : • Alternate Funding Plan Hours of work : 8-hour shifts

A General Practitioner who joins the Medical Team will be welcome to work part-time in the Emergency Department and/or participate in a hospitalist rota and/or participate in a rota for a rehabilitation/palliative care unit. Bilingual English and French preferred. Compensation : • Fee for service • On-call stipend • Eligibility to join a Family Health Group and receive a 10% increase in fee schedule
